This website, www.fableandfield.co.uk (the "Site"), is owned and operated by Jake Roberts, trading as Fable & Field ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using this Site and/or purchasing goods from us, you agree to be bound by this Legal Notice and the terms outlined below.

2. Nature of Service (Dropshipping Fulfillment)

Fable & Field operates on a dropshipping model. This means that we curate products, process payments on the Site, and pass order details to our trusted third-party global suppliers, who ship the products directly to you.

  • Stock Availability: Because inventory is managed by third-party suppliers, product availability can change rapidly. If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will contact you immediately to offer a full refund or an alternative.

  • Shipping & Delivery: Delivery times may vary depending on supplier location. Estimated delivery windows provided at checkout are estimates only, not legal guarantees.

3. Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

Depending on the supplier's location, items ordered from Fable & Field may be shipped from outside the United Kingdom.

Important Note for Customers: The buyer (recipient) is considered the importer of record. You are responsible for ensuring the product can be lawfully imported to your destination country and for paying any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes that may be levied once a shipment reaches your country. We have no control over these charges.

4. Cancellations and Returns (UK Consumer Rights)

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order and request a refund within 14 days of receiving your goods.

  • How to Return: To initiate a return, you must contact us at sales@fableandfield.co.uk for instructions.

  • Return Address: Do not ship returns back to the address on the shipping label (our supplier's warehouse) unless explicitly instructed by us. Returns sent directly back to overseas suppliers without our authorisation cannot be tracked or refunded.

  • Condition: Items must be returned unused, in their original packaging, and at your own expense, unless the item arrived faulty or damaged.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including product descriptions, photography, logos, and branding graphics, is either owned by Fable & Field or used with explicit permission/license from our product suppliers. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any site content for commercial purposes without our written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

While we vet our suppliers thoroughly for product safety and quality, Fable & Field acts as the retail facilitator. To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, we shall not be liable for any indirect damages, delays caused by customs, or postal strikes. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the price paid for the product.

7. Governing Law

This Legal Notice and all transactions on this Site are governed by the laws of England and Wales (or Scotland/Northern Ireland, depending on where you reside). Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
