Refund policy

At Fable & Field, we curate luxury, high-quality fabrics, wallpapers, and bespoke pieces from established design houses and independent brands. Because the majority of our products are made-to-order or cut-to-length specifically for you, we operate under a strict return policy.

Please review the guidelines below before placing your order.

1. Change of Mind & Measurement Errors

Due to the bespoke nature of our product ranges, we do not accept returns, offer exchanges, or issue refunds for change of mind, incorrect measurements, or unsuitability. > Tip: To ensure you are completely happy with your choice, we highly encourage ordering samples via our website before committing to a full order.

2. Non-Returnable Items

In accordance with our suppliers' policies, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Cut-to-length fabrics or wallpapers (unless structurally faulty)

  • Opened packaging or partially used products

  • Made-to-order items (including bespoke cushions, custom trims, or tailored lengths)

3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

While we maintain the highest standards of quality control, if your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, we will absolutely make it right.

You must report any issues to us within 48 hours of delivery.

How to Report a Fault:

  1. Email our team at sales@fableandfield.co.uk.

  2. Use the email address associated with your order.

  3. Include your Order Number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photographs of the damage or fault.

4. The Return & Refund Process

  • Prior Authorisation Required: Please do not send items back to us without contacting us first. All returns must be authorised by Fable & Field in advance. Unauthorised returns will be refused and sent back to the sender.

  • Resolutions: Once a fault is verified, we will coordinate with our supplier to arrange a replacement, refund, or store credit where appropriate.

  • Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be issued directly to your original payment method once the return is received, inspected, and accepted by the supplier.
